West Indies legendary hard-hitting opening batsman Chris Gayle is plied his trade for Quetta Gladiators in the 2021 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The franchise has failed to make a mark in the tournament thus far as it is located at the last position on the points table after winning just one game from five played.

However, Gayle was in blistering form in PSL 2021 and amassed a whopping 107 runs in two innings at a stunning average of 53.5 and strike rate of 167.18. His highest score in the tournament thus far is 68 runs. However, the batsman had to leave the event in the middle after he was named in the West Indies squad for the T20I series against Sri Lanka.

Gayle is expected to carry his amazing form of PSL 2021 in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) too while playing for Punjab Kings (previously known as Kings XI Punjab). The power-hitter had done exceedingly well for Punjab in the last season by garnering 288 runs in just 7 innings including a high score of 99 runs.
